A 50-something Midwest woman who finally got smart and moved to Oregon. I've
always been a little out of synch with my own age group, and this was no different.
At the age when most people are moving away from home and trying out their
wings, I stayed put and raised a family. But when I hit 50, I decided it was
time to fly. Likes: traveling, especially to the ocean which is a lot closer
now than it used to be; gourmet cooking (and eating!); visiting antique shops
and junk stores and collecting lots of unusual things and using them to decorate
my home; all kinds of art stuff; and spending time with friends. Dislikes:
Thank goodness, I don't have many of those, but I do get really annoyed by
pompous people. :)
